This past Sunday at the Renteria home I asked Janet if she had ever played Golf.
Janet answered my question by asking another, “What’s Golf?”
i wanted to respond to her by saying, “WHAT IS GOLF!?!?!?!?!?! What do you mean what is golf? everyone knows what golf is!!!”
Needless to say that in a community which survives in the desert; people that live in shacks; families that barely have enough money for their kids to go to school.
Golf is not an option.
Golf is not an extracurricular sport.
Golf is not a Gentleman’s Game.
Golf is something you will never do and never know.
Well, this past Sunday with the Renteria family, we introduced Golf! ok, it’s not the finest fairway or the deepest green grass, but the kids were quite taken by the sport!!!

Here we find Janet learning to keep her eye on the ball!!! Good stuff!! Watch out Tiger, here we come!!
